Customer Stories Mechanics

Customer Story: A chain of Actions & Triggers across any media to let the customer experience promotions in a more natural way. Basic concepts are: Actions, Triggers; Backstory and Sequel:

Actions

Definition: Key interactions from customers, dividing the campaign in Chapters.

Example: If your final goal with the campaign you are creating is: Customer redeeming a voucher, then the campaign should have the following Key Customer Actions: Open Promotion Message, Claim Coupon, Redeem Coupon. Sounds logic?

Backstory & Sequel

All Campaigns, like stories, have a Backstory and some have a Sequel: all that happens before and after the main action.

You can link any story to another and create a Never-Ending-Story between your customer and your brand. This is the way you implement highly complex but yet simple Marketing plans.

Triggers

Definition: All interactions from brand, trying to incite an action by the customer. The Triggers can be scheduled or triggered by a Customer Action.

In this example: All interactions from brand inciting the customer to preform the key actions: Open, Claim and Redeem. Does it still logic?
